Free Test Prints
- We encourage all new customers to send in test prints, to ensure they are matched to our lab standards for color
- Customers can send in 5 individual 5x7 prints, to be printed and shipped for free.
- To order test prints, simply select the "Free Test Prints" catalog and place an order for 5 individual 5x7 prints. Your ROES total should show "$0.00" when you submit the test print order.
Order Policies
- All Orders Are Final.
We do not accept changes to any orders in progress, for any reason.
We do not allow changes to shipping or rush to an order in progress.
You can not upgrade your shipping once an order is submitted. Please ensure your order is completed as desired before you send it in. - ROES - Only one catalog type per order is allowed. If you try to combine multiple catalogs in one order, ROES will clear the previous catalog. This means you can not mix paper types, or Express Prints (proofs) and non-express orders, etc.
- Promotional Codes must be added to the order, in the notes / promo code field, before submitting the order.
- For Express Print (Proof) Orders, in order to receive the Express Print price, your order must contain at least 20 prints of one specific Express Print size. If there are fewer than 20 prints you will be charged the standard print price.
- $1.00 die cut fee for 7x10's cut to 8 wallets
- Any order not submitted through ROES is subject to strict ordering procedures and fees (for instance, Drop Off orders are subject to a $6.18 fee). Please contact the lab for more information.
- Backprint : Studio names may have up to 36 characters in their backprint. Image names will print up to 25 characters (for Non-rendered images such as express prints / proofs). Images that are rendered (such as Proof Magazine Pages, Pager Templates, Greeting Cards, ect) are always backprinted with their item number from ROES. (such as 'item0001.jpg')
Small Order Handling Fee
- Orders that total less than $15.00 will be subject to a handling fee of $8.50.
- Orders can not be combined to avoid the handling fee.
File types and Color Profiles
- All images must be in JPEG format.
- All images must be in sRGB Color Space. The easiest way to ensure this, is to attach the sRGB color profile to your image. Any image without an embedded profile is assumed to be in sRGB color space.
- File names must not contain any punctuation other than a single hyphen, a single underscore, or the .jpg. Files containing punctuation may result in a corrputed file.

Any image that is not in the proper filetype or color profile is subject to a $6.18 conversion fee.
- Images should be 300dpi (for images larger than 11x14, images can be 250dpi to reduce file size)
- Backprint : Studio names may have up to 36 characters in their backprint. Image names will print up to 25 characters (for Non-rendered images such as express prints / proofs). Ordering Best Practices
- Be sure your file names do not include the word "order" or "border" in any way. Do not use any characters other than letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens. Do not use any of these -> (!@#$%^&*.;:'"[]{}\|<>?,) in any file names
- Always allow a minimum 1/4 inch bleed on all edges of any print. This is especially important if you have a border around the edge of your image (If you have a border around the edge of your print, be sure it is at least 1/4 of an inch, preferably larger)
- It's a good idea to leave 1/4 inch margin between the edge of your print, and any text on your print. For instance, if you are putting a name on wallet prints, and want the print in the bottom right corer, be sure to leave that margin between the name and the edge of the print.
- For proof magazines and Express Print binding, know that the binding comb will cut about 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch into your image (depending on the number of pages in your book).
- Do not check the "Crop or Fit" button in ROES.

Non-standard Print Sizes
- All non-standard size prints must be sent canvased up to a standard size print. (i.e. If you have a 8x24 that needs to be printed, you'll need to canvas this up to a 12x24)
- If you would like us to trim this down for you, please indicate so in the notes / promo code field when placing your order. There is a $1.65 per image fee for this.

Shipping/Handling

- Standard Shipping is free on all orders totaling at or above $15.00.
- For prints with mounting at or larger than 24 x 30, or any other products with dimensions at or larger than 24 x 30, actual shipping charges will apply.
- Upgraded shipping options are available at cost. Options include: USPS Express, UPS Ground, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS Next Day Air (information on upgraded options below)
UPS Shipping
- Next Day Air - Actual shipping costs apply.
- 2nd Day Air - A flat fee of $30.00 will be charged.
- Ground - A flat fee of $12.00 will be charged.
- For prints with mounting at or larger than 24 x 30, actual shipping charges will apply.
Drop Shipping
- Drop Shipping is available for free in ROES and LabPrints
- Drop Shipped packages will not include an invoice, unless otherwise requested
- Regular handling prices still apply (orders over $15 get free Standard Shipping. Orders under $15.00 are charged a $8.50 handling fee.)
- Shipping Upgrades (via USPS or UPS) are available, and are charged at cost. Contact the lab for services and pricing.
- Orders shipped outside of the United States do not qualify for free Standard Shipping. Please contact the lab for more details
Canada Shipping

- Flat Rate for any size package
- Priority (estimated 6-10 day delivery) = $16.00
- Express (estimated 5 day delivery) = $25.00
Australia Shipping

- All packages must be shipped via USPS Express
- Express (estimated 5 day delivery)
- Cost : 1/2 of actual shipping costs apply.
New Zealand Shipping

- All packages must be shipped via USPS Express
- Express (estimated 5 day delivery)
- Cost : 1/2 of actual shipping costs apply.
International Shipping (to other countries)

- All packages must be shipped via USPS Express
- Cost : Typically, cost is 1/2 of actual shipping costs, however, this may vary depending on the destination country. Call for details.
Shipping Upgrades
- Shipping upgrades (Overnight, USPS Express, Saturday, etc) are available in ROES, and can be selected in your order review screen.
- Your shipping cost for these methods will be the determined by postage rate (actual costs apply)

Payment Options
- Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are the only forms of payment we accept for shipped orders.
- All shipped orders will be charged to a supplied credit card the day the order is printed.
- Pick-Up customers can pay by cash, check, & credit card.
- A $25.00 NSF check fee will be issued for all returned checks.

Press Printed Products & Assembled Albums
All Press Printed products (books and cards) and Assembled Albums have an in-house turnaround time of 5 - 7 business days. Additional time after this period is necessary for shipping as well.
VIP Rush Processing
For our photographers on-the-go, VIP Rush places your order at the top of the stack in processing. If your order is in by 12 noon EST, it will be put to the top of the list for processing and will go out yet that day. If your order does not go out the same day, we will refund your VIP RUSH charge.. VIP Rush costs $2.99, and is only available in ROES, in the Review Order window. Your order must be non-color corrected on Standard E-surface paper with no additional services (no mounting, spray coating, texturizing, etc) Your order must be received by 12 noon EST and your credit card authorization must be completed before 2:30 PM EST (no declined cards). Drop Shipping is not available on VIP RUSH orders, Standard shipping or Pick-Up only. VIP Rush orders are not processed on weekends and holidays, and will not be available on sale orders. VIP Rush charge is on a per-order basis.
100% Guaranteed Rush
When you absolutely need to have your order, no matter what services are involved, ColorInc will rush process your order for an additional fee (order cost doubles + shipping). All orders qualify for Guaranteed Rush, but your order must be received by 2:00 PM EST and your credit card authorization must be completed before 2:30 PM EST (no declined cards). Drop Shipping and / or upgraded shipping are available upon request. You must select '100% Guaranteed RUSH' at time of order. 100% guaranteed RUSH orders are not processed on weekends and holidays, and will not be available on sale orders. 100% Guaranteed RUSH charge is on a per-order basis.
100% Guaranteed Rush is not available on Press Print orders.
Shipping Damages
ColorInc uses USPS Priority shipping for most packages, and allows customers to select other shipment options. Packages always leave in perfect condition. Receiving a damaged print is rare. Should you receive a damaged print, please be sure to follow the steps listed below.
- Keep all damaged materials (including prints, and packaging materials).
Do not throw anything away. - Call (1.800.475.8340) or E-mail us (info@colorincprolab.com) as soon as possible
- Customer Service representatives will provide you with a Return Authorization Number
- Upload the damaged order again, using the Return Authorization Number provided (place this number in the notes / promo code field).
Damaged packages are subject to the following policies
- You must keep the damaged materials (including prints, and packaging)
- You must call a damaged shipment in within five days of package delivery.
- You must send in the same order for reprints (same images / same paper types / same quantity / etc.)
Promotion and Sale Policies
Color Incorporated strives to offer the best quality and prices for our products. The following policies apply to all Sales, Promotions, and Discounts.
- In order to extend a fair and equal opportunity to all of our customers, sales are announced via email and Twitter release just prior to the sale's beginning. Customer service representatives do not have access to information about sales until the public announcement.
- All Sales and Promotions are subject to the terms and conditions listed with the sale, as well as conditions listed on this policy page.
- Promotional Pricing is available in ROES only.
- Sales are available in ROES only.
- Sales and Promotions can not be combined. Only one sale or discount per order.
- Sales and Promotions can only be used once per household
Color Incorporated reserves the right to cancel discounts or promotion
at any time for any reason.

The following policies apply to this promotion.
- Only Standard E-Surface Paper Type.
- Must be ordered in ROES.
- Color Correction is not available on prints ordered for this promotion.
- These free prints must be ordered in a single distinct order from the Standard E-Surface Prints catalog. The lab will not split the 25 free prints between two separate orders.
- For example, you cannot order 10 4x6's in one order with the code and then later submit a separate order for the remaining 15 prints. The first order placed with the code is the only order where the discount will be applied.

The following policies apply to this promotion.
- Ten Orders refers to ten distinct ROES numbers (each ROES job number is a unique job, and you will receive a confirmation e-mail for each job)
- This promotion only applies to the first 11 consecutive orders placed. (1st at 50%, next 10 at 20%) You can not hold the promotion for use on later orders.
- Orders can not be combined.
- Press Print Cards, Press Print Books (including Bound Books) and Studio Supply orders do not qualify for this promotion, and do not count against your "ten order" total. (You will not loose promotion-orders by ordering Press Print or Studio Supplies)
- The discount applies to ROES only. Orders taken via Drop Off, LabPrints, or any other methods will not be discounted.

Refund & Reprint Policies
Errors are a rare occurrence at Color Incorporated. If an error should arise, Color Incorporated is committed to supplying each customer with a quality product. Please follow the guidelines
- Please contact customer service immediately with any problems or discrepancies that are discovered. To expedite the process, please have your account number and job number available.
- Errors or discrepancies must be reported within 30 days of submission of order.
- Customers requesting a reprint of product must obtain a Return Authorization Number from the customer service department prior to resubmitting any files.
- Upon receipt of the Return Authorization Number – files needing to be reprinted must be submitted to the lab within 72 hours.
- Reprints will only be provided of the exact same file originally submitted. Alteration of the file in any fashion will result in a full price charge to the customer
- No credit card refunds will be provided.
